I have been working for a company that makes all types of Yellow machines for last 24 yrs. 2015 company decided to close up or Joliet, Il plant and head off to way south of our borders. Plant will be completely closed down by middle of 2018.

recently I purchased a Jet 9x20 bench lathe to tinker with in my garage. Projects : nothing on drawing board at this time other than get the lathe up and running.

education : got a couple of 2 year degrees thanks to UNCLE SAM. Who gladly gave me a job as a Stinger team member from 83-90.
I also do EMS for last 25 years. also some extra training from UNCLE SAM

Not my first time machining , but never spent any time on a MANUAL LATHE.

so bare with me . We will get through this possibly intact. may make a few friends. Odds are will cause a few cases of HEART BURN for some.
