Good way to wind up with a broken wrist, wonder what made him think that the pressure wave from the blast was not going to slam the door open
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I was at a professional fireworks training class years ago and the instructor was going to demonstrate a "ground burst". He put a shell (I think it was 4") behind a nice mound of dirt and lit the quick match. FOOMF! The lift charge went off but not being in a tube it just rolled the shell between his legs. The entire class got experience in diving for cover (on a 4" shell you have about 4 seconds from the FOOMF to BANG!).

Later he said it would have been a good idea if he'd removed the lift charge for the demo. YA THINK?!?!

Yep, It tells you not to be around an East European who has a grenade! Is this the opportunity for a Polish joke?
