new to machining, i am a disable vet, so not much money to spend on tools, i have a used grizzly 9729 lathe/mill combo, it has a wore out halfnut, so i can't do any threading. i think the lead screw is 3/4 by 6 threads per/in.
but i miked the od of the lead screw, which came out to be .783 is this comond.
