When I saw Mr Thomas Latane’s magnificent saw on Pinterest, I resolved to try to emulate him. This would not impress a Nurnburg master, although Mr Latane’s would. This design is quite different, since mine has a pistol grip. I don’t know what wood forms the scales, although it resembles rosewood, but it’s not fragrant. It is a salvaged tray. The rivets are also secondhand..
