    It had to happen...

Ever since the social imperative of having a tattoo evolved I've been predicting that someone would see the business opportunities of preserving these dermal graffiti for future generations to venerate. And here it is...

Welcome to Save My Ink Forever*where we have developed a unique proprietary process for PRESERVING TATTOOS. Our mission is to help carry on a loved one's story. We hope to ensure that the spirit and legacy of your loved ones can live on for generations to come. Save My Ink Forever focuses on creating an everlasting memorial. At Save My Ink Forever we create more than just a picture. You receive the ACTUAL TATTOO. This becomes a framed piece of art that is presented to the family in a DIGNIFIED MANNER.*

All of the funeral homes and crematories listed on the preferred provider page of our website are businesses willing to provide the service of removing a loved one's tattoo art.

They have a portfolio of some of their work on the site - worth a visit if you can choke back your gorge. Here's an example...

    "A framed piece of art"?
I thought only the nazi's would do that.
(...and NO spellchecker..... they do NOT deserve a capital "n"; got anything smaller than "n"?)

Disgusting to me...... but then, perhaps not any worse than ashes on the mantle... just a different form of carbon.
...except you likely need to keep the mice and cockroaches out of it.

However, I'm also against trying to reserve ~20 sq. ft. of the planet for one simple carbon-based mammal corpse for eternity.... whatever that is....

PS: Perhaps if the skin is preserved well enough it could be cloned at a later date for even more gruesome amusement.

Graffiti makes neighborhoods look trashy; tattoos do the same for people.
