I'd be skeptical that a machine could ever build a Dagwood sandwich the way that I like to make them. Not only is there a chef part of the creation but there's an architectural element too so that you don't wind up with food all over the table and floor.
If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.
building a good Dagwood requires knowledge in how to make the layers lock together otherwise just stacking one on top of the other will result in the sandwich being all over the place after the first biteOriginally Posted by Crusty
