Hamburger assembly line conveyor belt - video

There is more than one way to look as these novelty automation machines. One the surface they would seem to be replacing workers with automation reducing the number of employees a franchise might require, which may be true to an extent, however the machine cannot replenish the condiments, it cannot clean itself or the area where it is installed. The machine also cannot repair itself, most importantly the machine cannot self design itself nor could it build itself. then transport itself from the factory and self install.
On the other hand Automation devices such as these do deprave persons who might require or desire a means of earning an entry level wage enabling them to continue their education in pursuit of a better paying job or to start up their own company by which they might design or build machines such as these.

I'd be skeptical that a machine could ever build a Dagwood sandwich the way that I like to make them. Not only is there a chef part of the creation but there's an architectural element too so that you don't wind up with food all over the table and floor.

The assembly of those burgers is pretty messy, I've seen better work from minimum wage people at the end of their shift on a Friday night with their date waiting in the car.

building a good Dagwood requires knowledge in how to make the layers lock together otherwise just stacking one on top of the other will result in the sandwich being all over the place after the first bite
