    Cool Hand Forged Pry Bar

I forged this pry bar out of a 16" length of coil spring. I had a lot of fun making this one. Wasn't too difficult just an awful lot of hammering! This is a fairly light duty pry bar but can still take a pretty good load. I hope you all enjoy!

Nice work, very educational, I been a tool and die maker all my life, seriously thinking about trying some forging just for the heck of it, looks fun, good work.

Thank you very much, Doug. I do think I need a bigger hammer. It was an awful lot of work to move that thick spring. Forging has been a complete joy for me. I started about a year and a half ago and can't get enough of it! Glad you enjoyed the video.

The video was well done. For a year and a half this is really nice work.

As for a bigger hammer, I can see an old steam powered hammer in your future.
