    Fascinate me that those rake wheels are powered by their interaction with the ground, not by the tractor.


    Well that tractor powers it by pulling it forward, but the tractor is not linked to the wheel rotation.

    It's an elegant design. If this were invented today by John Deere it would have hydraulic motors on it and be full of sensors.
