That did not look like a terribly hard landing. But I guess it was a bit too hard, or perhaps to many, Obviously its very last landing

If the thump didn't get 'em, the fire, surely, did. Tuff way to go... not unlike all of those poor souls that hit the wall.

Perfect example of vortex ring state decent. Descending too fast with no forward airspeed.

Ah. It descended into its own turbulence and got spun around?

Have to remember that next time I take my helicopter out!! LOL
