    Looks like a bearing failure with all of that smoke coming from the center.

    IIRC the test to determine when and/or how it would fail if the rotors weren't synced properly or something like that.

    there was vibration of the airframe long before the smoke and failure of the rotor head gearbox and mount. Can't tell if itis a test process, or what, but guess that airframe is now derated or written off.

    I looked it up... I was wrong about what the test was. It was a ground resonance test.
