Hello

I just found this site and have not had time to fully explore it yet. I am a retired biomedical engineering technician that has taken up wood working as a hobby. In the past I also worked as a welder and a machinist. In my shop I have a metal lathe with a milling attachment as well as a fairly well developed set of power and hand tools.
I enjoy designing and building jigs and fixtures for others as well as myself. Presently I am working on designing and building a set of wooden jaws for my Nova chucks that can be used for finishing the recessed bottom of bowls.
