I just registered after spending many hours at work scrolling through the email updates, 15 minutes at a time. :) and I'm happy to be here. Interested in lathe tools mostly, jigs for woodworking and anything related to green woodworking. I also spend time brewing beer and trying to find wild mushrooms. Thanks for having me!

What are you thinking of building next?

Actually, a good friend is getting into woodworking. I gave him a smallish lathe and I am very interested in building faceplates, cutting tools, and other bits that will help him get started or work more safely. I made a simple screw chuck so far and some glue-type faceplates.

This summer I will visit a friend in Vermont who has bees and some land. I hope to build a springpole lathe and/or shaving horse with him. :)

Both very interesting projects. Keep us posted. :)
