New to the forum. I'm a commercial fire protection contractor and residential General contractor, and I love to be in the shop making and building, and I'm on the cheap side so I spend a lot of time making it up as I go along, tools and final products. Hope to post a few that everyone or some kind find useful, and get inspired by what everyone else is doing as well.

One tool I'm looking to make is a pulse spot welder. I have quite a few aging Makita lipo batteries that I'm gonna need to rebuild, which requires a pulse spot welder. I've seen plan for a regular spot welder, but have only seen the laboratory type for spot welding the 18650 lipo battery banks back together and I'm not able to lay down that kind of capital. Any chance you could point me in the right direction?

Also, I'm looking for some decent plans to make a forge for blade making and annealing and for Melting aluminum for castings. I love tinkering and building so pretty much everything is fair game for ideas and builds. Plus hopefully some of my preferences/ twists on the concept could help others.
