I'm Glen and I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I'm in my 70's and when growing up on a farm one had to make tools that work in unusual situations. These were usually simple toosl as one did not have access to a welder, steel pile, etc on the farm.

I'm currently having to take things easy because of an infection but will be getting back to woodturning in the near future. I've made some of my own wood chisels and used carbide cutters on the end of them to have a tool that works great at a minimal cost.

I look forward to seeing what others have done to resolve their issues.
