I recently retired so I now have my time. I purchased an old Craftsman lathe which I refreshed somewhat, and an Enco 8x30 vertical milling machine.
I have zero machining experience so it's a learn as I go new hobby. I also repurposed an old treadmill into a bufffing table- small workbench. I have two 10" buffing wheels powered by the two hp treadmill motor. I'm looking forward to spending time here seeing what you guys do with your shop time. :drool:

Nice treadmill salvaging work. People also like to use the frames, and the incline motors. Post some pics of the buffing table, we'd love to take a look.

Thanks for the welcome. I just browsed the top fifty and saw some very interesting builds.
I will take a few pics of buffing table in the morning and share them with everyone. I have another 3 hp treadmill motor and control board plus two incline motors with controls. I will find a use for them here possibly!
