CAN ANYONE HELP WITH A HOMADE EXTENDED IDLE, USING THE OEM-iac' of a jeep-gm style 4 wire, bi-polar -stepper-pwm? amd maybe a dial knob trim pot? or spdt switch?, Im not great with the fine details of getting a IAC to do whatr I want, ... Im not sure what parts id need to build a little control dial knob &/pr switch mounted on the shifter for a ext. idle, for accessoreoys etc.. I know the bike cable lever... But I wanta mor simple , twist of knob or switch and some wiring.. I tohugh about using a cruise control unit, or a 12v actuator? like a windo reg. For mor rpm agjustment, instead of just idle, or set up or on-netweenteen to a min. of 1100 rpm like the factory special order-police-fir jeeps, gms, etc have... Possible a door lock actuator and with a wirless remote, but again, that mite be set to just idle, and a hi-rpm, unless I used 2?? Or my other though Of controlling a window regulator, with a trimpot dial-diode, etc... or just a rewired-hacked cruise control unit since its already there... Nut maily I need some help ith how to control the stock 4wire PWM?-STEPPER iac- valve... aND OR HELP TO CONTROL SUCH THING AS A DUAL 5-12V. ACTUATOR, OR BETTER YET A HACKED VRUISCONTROL DIAPHRAM ETC....... also I have a ise to build a winch,capstan winch, that will run off rather a 12v starter motor..(that I could figure out), or using a hydo motor from a feed roller off a woodchipper, either motors mounted to a drum setup, or mount drum, for a lite' duty winch, or capstan style.. to mount say ie; on a receiver hitchm back of woodchipper, or at end of boom of a machine, or bucket truck.. Mothein heavt duty, just something to pick and or drag up to 400-600lbs... or 1k-2k if I need with snathc block for say, dragin a jeep outta mud, or logs up a bank..
