Hi Jon,

My next project is to build a simple propane forge for blacksmithing. I'm thinking of a firebrick and some Kao-wool in a sheet metal enclosure for the forge chamber. I'm really looking to find a burner setup that is made from simple pipe fittings that you can get at Lowes.

Very nice. I would suggest posting a new discussion in the Tools in Progress subforum, with any burner questions you may have, and I'm sure you'll get some good responses. I think you're on the right track with the common pipe fittings idea. Here's the link to the subforum: Tools in Progress
