Hello world, just registered ...and my DIY metal lathe (work in progress)

Hello everybody, I'm new here and followed the invitation of someone (I assume the admin) from this site, to post here.
So, here I am.

Making tools is not my main interest, but among the several things I do there is certainly a place for making tools, at home, often because they are preparatory for making other stuff.

My current endeavour is about making a metal mini lathe. This is quite the first time I make a "thick" machine, I mean, a machine that uses thick metal to withstand large forces, so it is a work in progress experience ...and of course I've faced some mistakes, as you will see in my first video of this series.
