Hi
I can't believe that I haven't stumbled upon this site before. It is very good. I am a semi-retired high school science and math teacher. I have been woodworking for about 20 years now and have recently become very interested in building some of my own machines. Last year I built a simple pneumatic pop can crusher. Our kids used to do that, but they have long since fled our home. This year I am looking at building a sliding table top for my table saw. We live at Chaos Central in Saskatoon (pop. about 300,000) in the province of Saskatchewan.

Hi nargd - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
Glad you found us, and that you're a teacher! My experience is that those with teaching skills fare well in online communities.
Post the pneumatic pop crusher if you have any pics, those are a fan favorite.
How is the sliding table top project idea going so far? Do you see any builds on here that give you ideas?
