Hold down quick clamp

This was a really simple and quick build of a hold down clamp.



I made it mainly for the use as a clamp on my bosch mitre saw, but it would work as a workbench or CNC hold down really well too.



It is made from a scrap of oak wood and uses a simple cam action to grip stuff.



It works way better than I expected. Build video showing exactly how I made it below.

Cam action clamps are very advantageous in production work; either manual, pneumatic or hydraulic actuation. You did a good job for your shop!
