I know it mustn't seem like that bad of a storm to you at that latitude but we're geared to cope with hot weather here and everything is made for those predominant conditions so truly cold weather puts us in jeopardy. A man in Abilene froze to death in his recliner at home for instance. It will get warmer than freezing today and that's some welcome relief.
