Very cool. I've a dumb question. Was the galvanised pipe electrical conduit? Just wondered. I've used black pipe for various things but always have to fight with the weld seam.

Very nice results. I was under the impression that the button was pulled through the barrel, but I guess I was wrong. Do you have a good selection of diameters and rates of twist? Where can the buttons be purchased?

Buttons can be produced for pull or push rifling. Rifling buttons can be purchased on eBay at a rather reasonable price, IMO. I would suspect the rate of twist and number of groove/lands would be listed for purchasing, I've seen 6 and 12 groove buttons.

I would be VERY hesitant about posting any kind of home shop rifling press, some states here in the US would consider that to be manufacturing with a license, the posting would used as evidence, and you can be looking at a long prison sentence, much like the wankers and their 3D printing of frames and high capacity magazines. Post here as you will, but take care as you must!!!
