Send in the sacrificial sander...spare no zip ties!!!
A true budget vibratory float functioning like a screed. Nowhere near equal to a laser screed with an auger and vibratory movement but it looks like it can do the job at hand.

Zip tie your wife's hoo-ha rattler to it for a high performance upgrade.
