Hello Con an,
What sort of a finish do you get when using a tool like that ?
I had a go and got a very ragged finish that needed a lot of sanding. Am wondering what tool profile to grind to get a better finish when using the copy lathe.
Do you think you could use it to copy very small fine things like chess pieces ?
Bill
Hello Bill,
You're right, the finish is not good, but it must be used the sand for tiny pieces and use a higher speed on a lathe, so that it is not bad. With this knife I worked and chess pieces and solid are.I hope you understand my English is not very good.
