Homemade Lathe Sanding Belt Holder

Very nice. Have you any thoughts about motorising it?

I used cordless drill first, but it was too slow. Then I took a more powerful 720 watt drill and it's much better for this job. Didn't think about permanent motor installation, as it would make this attachment much bulkier and heaver. Wanted to make it as small as possible.
