    As many know this is all too familiar to me
    I like having my bearings mounted a couple inches away form the end of the bore to allow for better viewing and bit run off
    Never try to tell me it can't be done
    When I have to paint I use KBS products

    I've line bored a lot of punch presses, but never had to hand feed. We always had our carrier bearings set back a ways too. Problems I had, were related to the temperature of the hydraulic oil in our system. Anytime the temp of the oil changed, we had a slight change in feedrate or RPM. I have once line bored a 1300 ton forge press in freezing temperatures.
    This guy wouldn't have to worry about that
