Homemade Shopsmith drumsander

Built purely out of necessity, and using what I had at my disposal, this is my Shopsmith drumsander.
I use this mostly to thickness my stock for cutting boards and also final thicknessing. It was only meant to be a proof of concept, but it so worked well, I continued using it and promised myself that I would improve on it someday. It is capable of sanding up to 3 1/4" thick and 18" wide material. I have a new table design in my head that would gain about 2 more inches and have an automatic feed belt too.
I am stuck making cutting boards for customers most days & I shouldn't complain, but I would really like to spend more time making neat homemade tools. Here is my first! Hope you enjoy and let me know what ya think.
