    Homemade Table Saw

10 Years ago I made this table saw.

I made it from salvaged parts (as usual)

I finally got around to make a video of its features.
If you would like you can check it out here.

    Hope you like it

    Best reg

Very nice and useful design for your homemade table saw. I also like your homemade table saw finger board hanging on the back wall. We can never have too many of these for horizontal and vertical pushing parts into the table saw and router table fences. The little extra time in setting up the finger boards can shave at lot in unnecessary scraped parts.

    Thank you for the video,

    Regards, Paul Jones

I have to admit whenn the video first started I was thinking that main table is a granite countertop!!! Fooled me.

In any event this looks like a nicely designed table saw. The sliding table really seal the deal. Frankly I probably would have stopped with vertical adjustment of the blade and avoid blade tilt. You sent an extra mike there.

Tank you Paul. The saw has served me well, and as you say accessories for it are well worth the effort.

Thank you very much. It is actiually the tilt case tat bothers me with thi saw, enoug to start a new build. It does not have trunnions, and that means a hole lot of extra work when setting up. And of course that I have a shelf full of salvaged servos that I want to make use of.

Why would trunnions make set up easier?

Trunnions will make the sawblade pivot around its own axis, and therefor making it possible to use the same insert and the scale on the rip fence will be correct as well.
Also I want to automate it with digital input for all the adjustments
