Hose clamp tool

This is my version [copy] of the wire tying tool "Clamp-Tite". A short piece of black pipe, a 5/16 bolt with extended threads, a 5/16 wing nut and a couple hardened dowels. The end of the tool is the stub shaft off of a bed caster wheel. I don't have a metal lathe so I chucked it in my drill press and used an angle grinder to fashion the point and re-size the other end to fit in the pipe. The slots in the pipe were milled in my drill press using my cross slide vise.
