Hot Glue Reflow

I have done this for years. If I want my connection to be more like a plug I use epoxy. Make a mold with tape (I normally use scotch tape) and pour in the epoxy. I have also used RTV this way, but you have to be careful to use the electrical version without the acetic acid in it.

I never thought of using epoxy but that is a great idea. I also hadn't thought about being careful with RTV.

What other cool things have you done over the years? I'm sure we would all benefit from hearing about them.
