Clever signature adachsoft_com! Very nice to see images in there.
Nope, no problem at all. We're very fortunate on this forum; lots of guys here link to their sites, and, so far, they're virtually all excellent websites.

Hello everyone,
below is a video, how do i use hot wire foam cutter to cut plexiglass
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en6yo0GnaEc
Interesting does the cut piece easily break/pop off.
Would it cut plexi better with 12v or are you adjusting the temperature?
I have a bunch of plexi to cut.
Thanks for the post!
Ralph
and then the wire is bending, which implies the spring is not really maintaining tension or is the expansion from the heat?
if the arms could pivot and the spring was run between them on the back possible it could maintain tension.
I am going to have to try this, thanks a lot one more thing to do.
Ralph
Hi, two days I was offline.
In this version of the device I can control the temperature using a potentiometer. This gives me the ability to connect to a voltage source between 12v and 20v. The temperature control I did on the PWM. Plexiglass easily break after using this tool. This needs to be done in a ventilated room, due to the melting plastics.
This is an interesting idea, it could solve the problem.Quote:

Hello everyone,
I updated my tool. I added temperature regulation using PWM. Now I can power my hot wire from 9v to 20v and I have the opportunity to adjust the right temperature.
