I like using the trick of using wax to hold the material while working on it.
When I was in high school a guy had put a piece of bicycle chain around his wrist. I thought it was kinda neat so I asked him about it. Specifically, how does he take that off. Answer? He doesn't. He just put a light oil on it so it doesn't rust in the shower. ...Okay.
I thanked Altair for the vid, for a different reason than usual. Normally it introduces me to techniques I'm unaware of.
This time it was personal; that plainly evident means to improve the tooling and output rate came to mind.
Who'd do things in such a one-at-a-time process?
But he gets credit for rolling mill, and what looks like proper draw filing technique.
