I wonder how they could be built the correct size so no trimming is necessary...
What most likely happened was someone decided an elevator should be installed but the stairs were already cast to have enough room to accommodate the shaft way the stairs had to be cut back.Quote:

There are a lot of companies who do nothing else but cut concrete. In floors, walls, ceilings and yes stairways. Most that I have done business with though will usually have the guards on the blades with water spraying on them. Blades are not cheap and water helps them to last 10 times longer.Quote:
