How to embed .GIF file?

I recently made a first post. Have some pics and a .gif, but could not figure out how to successfully embed gif in post. Tried the URL link to the gihpy site, tried downloading to PC and inserting (I have a feeling there is a size limit as I had to resize some pics to get them to post). I've seen lots of posts with embedded gifs so just trying to figure out what I need to do.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The correct Giphy url should end in ".gif". Sometimes they give you an incorrect url. Then you just use the image button; it should end up looking like this before you submit your post:

[img]http://image-url-goes-here.gif[/img]

Thanks much Jon! Looks like changing the [video] tags to [img] tags was all it needed. The quick reply and helpful advice is greatly appreciated.
