Lack of PPE "Personal Protective Equipment" will stop them at some point in time. Pounding on metals for hours everyday without hearing protection/earmuff, can damage the hearing. It's a gradual prosses that is hard to notice until it's too late.Quote:

I spent 20 years around woodworking routers, and despite the best ear protection I could find, I have hearing loss and will be fitted with hearing aids on Thursday of this week.
I guess I 'got used to it'.
