The step not shown is the video is where they split the pencil groups into individual pencils. It shows the blocks of wood/glue/graphite and then it shows individual pencils. It would be interesting to see them slicing them apart and milling into the 6 sided pencil we're familiar with.

The red and blue ones are teachers' pencils for grading papers.
