A rotary differs from a roundabout in that in people entering a roundabout have to yield, while a rotary is 1 then 1 zipper merging. So this one particular high traffic area had different rules from every other place in North America. Needless to say there were accidents there almost daily. So this one particular high traffic area had different rules from every other place in North America. Needless to say there were accidents there almost daily. When it was slow at work we would just sit outside and watch all the near-misses. Every once in a while you'd get an old lady that would drive around backwards or something.
