I'm a woodworker/metalworker and have been all my life. I worked as a Rehab engineer for 33 years of my life and retired from that in 2008. I have a shop at home with a collection of tools ranging from all hand tools to most power tools including wood and metal lathes, drill presses, cabinet saw, and most anything one would want. If i don't have it, or can't afford it, I build it. I have a collection of books, that I call 'my brains' that tell me how to build most any power tool ever built.
I've been following your site for a couple of years and really enjoy a lot of the projects I've seen. Some are really interesting, some are quite scary!
Keep up the good work guys and keep building all those 'things'. I think we all may need this kind of ingenuity in the coming years.

What are you thinking of building next? Do you see any projects here that particularly catch your eye?
