Howdy
Hey folks, I'm AJ.
I found this site via /r/GarageShop on reddit.
I do a lot of tinkering, prop building, 3d printing and various repairs/improvements around the house. My latest project was an indoor pen for a bunny that we just got for one of my kids.
I used to do a lot of auto repairs, but not so much anymore since I bought a Toyota :D. I miss it sometimes, but I do enjoy having more money and time for hobbies, etc.
I'm especially interested in garage organization and storage, and my next project is inspired by this site: I'm going to repurpose my Harbor Freight transmission jack into an adjustable rolling outfeed table/mini workbench. The dang thing has been sitting around taking up space for a few years, so hopefully this will kill two birds with one stone.
Anyhoo - I look forward to helping out when I can and picking up some great tips and inspiration from you all.

Hi AJ - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
Sounds like you'll fit right in here. What are your ideas so far for the HF jack workbench build?

The frame will probably be some 2x4's screwed together and held to the jack with carriage bolts. The table surface will most likely be made out of whatever old MDF I have laying around.

Keep us posted; this sounds interesting.
