Howdy from New Mexico
Good day all,
A warm hello from the Four Corners region.
I am a long-time car guy, amateur machinist, gentlemen farmer, welder and registered professional mining engineer.
Happy to be here. Looking forward to being a part. :D
Ask anything; expect everything.
Cheers,
Bob

Hi Bob - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
Sounds like you'll fit in perfectly here. :)
What are you working on now? Do you see any projects here that you might add to your build list?

Interested in all of it - I love to make it rather than buy it.
Lot's of projects in the works - too many to think about.
Four different engines on stands on process of rebuild,
FJ40 finishing up fuel injection, locker etc for spring camping,
Putting super singles on my M36 deuce and a half and installing the rebuilt 3052 tranny,
Building an "uber" mole chaser for the farm (solar powered, 2 1/2" PVC, paint shaker motored vibrator to scare 'em for miles!),
Maintaining the ol' D4 dozer anf tractors on the farm,
Machining up a piston pin puller for a Subaru EA-82 1800 project,
oh, and just finishing up a new build of a desktop PC; water-cooled,I7 4790 with 32GB, 500 SSD. Working on video.
Lot's of others...
Too many projects, too little time... although, now I've been made redundant at work and will be laid off on March 1st, so guess I'll have all I need.

Hi Bob,
Welcome! :welcome:
What a great set of projects! We're definitely going to need pics of the engine rebuilds and the M36…
Sorry to hear about the layoff, but I suspect you'll make excellent use of the time.
