Hi Phantomphixer - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

Sounds like you have a diverse skill set. We definitely have our share of airplane nuts around here Our new site PlaneBuilds.net was fun to put together.

So, what's next up on your projects list?

    Hi Phantomphixer,

    Welcome!

I'm another one of those airplane nuts. What are you planning on building next in your machining/welding shop?

Just finished re-engineering my elk trailer. Made it a dually. Use it to have lady friends granddaughter's quad out to the desert when I'm not hunting. Carries 300+ pounds no sweat. Stub axles. Tracks behind my ATV just right.
Thinking of building a tire breaker/changer.
This past weekend, modified a hex shaft 1/2" drive to accept snake drills(threaded bits). Took a little annealing to be able to drill out to size. Nice to be able to drill in small area without 90* drill and air hose. I use one of the shorty Porter Cable hex bit holder drills. Think I'll post picks of before and after.
Thanx for chiming in to you, kbalch and DIYer.
