    This is referring to the post Jon made withe the Russian sniper girls.
    Being British i had no idea who these wonderful girls were and the support they had provided your veterans.

    Linda Vaughn visited the patients at US Naval Hospital Philly near Christmas in 1967 and was a big hit with the guys there. I happened to be over the gate that weekend and didn't meet her. I guess it pays to obey the rules.
    I also missed her at Indy Time Trials a few years ago, she was there but I was with a group and couldn't go find her to thank her for the kindness she showed the wounded military guys.
