No more using the pump handle to lock or unlock, just leave the pump handle where it is and use this new knob to lock or unlock.

My press jack has a 3/8 NF thread. I used a 3/8 NF bolt and modified it to accept an ordinary cross type faucet handle. It gives me some leverage although the valve does not need to be tightened more than the ball valve seating, in fact I can spin it open or closed with just a finger.
