Of course, suggestive names have the problem of being potentially misunderstood in some other cultures. The importance of such a problem depends on the target audience.

A list of what you want the name to suggest would be helpful.
Marv, I think that you are much better at this task than I am. I know which names appeal to me but I do not have the right type of imagination to create them. So far all three of your suggestions are on the short list.

As to what the name should suggest - home made tools, machining, a bit of physics, some electronics and programming. The ultimate aim is to help people find the channel through general searches on the usual search engines. This has come to the fore very recently. I was approached with a semi-sponsorship collaboration deal whereby in exchange for tools and machine parts I make mentions in project videos. As I often make videos of projects it will not be much of a burden. As the collaboration is proposed to be ongoing rather than being a one off deal I feel an obligation to put some but limited effort into creating more viewers. A name change seemed like a first step to be more search engine friendly. I have never put much effort into promoting the channel previously, I started it because some people asked me to and I pretty much left it to grow or not on its own.
