Even the British, American and Canadian navies considered building aircraft carriers out of Ice during WWII or as at least 1 US congress person called it World War Eleven.

Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
There was a guy that invented a material made of sawdust and water frozen together. I forgot what he called it. It would stay frozen for a long time, and he envisioned aircraft carriers (I think) or some other kind of ships made from it. It was considered to be used but for whatever reason it never was.
Stupid is forever, ignorance can be fixed.
His name was Geoffery Pyke his invention was Pykrete wood pulp and water this was not his only invention, another was a snow vehicle for troop transport
