    Ive seen some that had a bracket & spring pulling the lever upwards on some. witch is ok but I like having the brass pucks spread to be sure they arnt dragging.

    Think I will make one of those clamps, seems to me I have heard them called a Cotter ? Then again I may be thinking of something else, but anyway, will make a new one for my mill and use a left hand thread in the barrel and on the stem, that way I can leave the lock lever at the front.
