    It looks nice now, as long as it is new, but all induction cooktops I've ever seen soon have burned rings where the cooking was done.

    Induction or infrared? Induction are supposed to stay cool.

    the tops stay cool but the pots get hot, doesn't matter what the top is made out of after enough hot pots skillets and pans are heated on them there will be a burned spot that won't clean off even by polishing with an abrasive compound.

    We have one of these. Only thing I don’t like is that the total energy capacity is shared amongst the 4 ‘burners’. If you were, say, to turn the 2 right spots up to 9, it would reduce 1 of them to something less. That said, it will get my coffee going in 3 min!
