Haha, I've actually seen this one done for larger bearings on our die cutter. They actually heated the linkage and packed the bearing in dry ice for a few hours. There was no "indexing" per se but they lined everything up and slammed them together really fast! One of the tech's doing it told me they lined one up wrong TWICE which took a extra day or so because they had to cut the bearing into pieces to get it out of the housing. Less than zero press fit!
