When I was in my late teens for a while I worked with a plumbing contractor. I didn't mind roughing in and topping out but setting fixtures was a real drag. because the system had already passed the pressure test and often times it required cutting back into the system. Hated residential work even new,

My uncle had a plumbing and heating company. I worked for him for a couple years. He was a real @#$%&* to work for. He couldn't keep a secretary. I am glad for the experience. I never have to call a plumber.
